“The homes are still affordable, it is not like 110 miles west of us,” Northpoint Asset Management Regional Manger Scott Swindell said. “Here you can still get a nice house, put 20 percent down for an investor and have a positive cash flow.”

Swindell manages properties for investors. He said some are getting more properties and he is now considering picking up a new one of his own.

“As a matter of fact, I was having that conversation with my wife and sister-in-law yesterday,” he said.
